Brent Wilson, Superintendent & CEO
Brent Wilson serves as the Superintendent of LifeSchool of Dallas, which includes four elementary schools, two middle schools, and two 2A public high schools (over 4,000 enrollment). Mr. Wilson received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1995. He joined the Life School Executive Team as Chief Operations Officer in July 2009 after a fourteen year career in the private sector. As Superintendent, he has oversight and management of the Academic, Operations, and Financial Departments of Life School.
LifeSchool of Dallas has been featured in the Dallas Morning News, Dallas Talk Radio, KLIF and other forms of social media.
Before joining LifeSchool of Dallas, Mr. Wilson developed his collaborative, systems-based management style in diverse and varied corporate settings. He has worked and performed management coordination for a world-wide pharmaceutical marketing and sales company, Merck & Co. He helped manage several major multi-year projects in the energy sector for Kvaerner Oilfield Products. At another world-wide corporation, Brinker International, he served as an operational manager while overseeing logistical channels between Brinker International and other private sector companies.
Mr. Wilson now brings his strong, well-rounded management abilities to LifeSchool of Dallas. He is leading the organization as it transitions from the growth phase into maturity by building and strengthening infrastructure, creating and refining systems and processes, and instilling a professional management culture at all levels of leadership. Mr. Wilson is married to Kirstin Booher Wilson. They have two children Cooper and Kaitlin.
Scott Fuller, Chief of Staff
Life School’s former Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Scott Fuller, has been with the district since its inception and has been an integral part of the organization’s success.
Scott has 15 years of experience in non-profit administration. During that period, he has been involved in a wide range of experiences and has seen the tremendous growth firsthand. For a number of years he served as the Director of Finance and Facilities for both The Oaks Fellowship church, a thriving mega church and LifeSchool of Dallas. In August 2009, Scott focused his attention full time to Life School and became the Chief Financial Officer. In his position as Chief of Staff, Scott will work with Life School leadership to create and utilize systems (both formal and informal) to track reliable information on what is happening throughout Life School with regard to the strategic initiatives.
Scott received his Bachelors of Science degree in Management from Dallas Baptist University and is currently working on a Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree at DBU. He is married to Melody and they have two children, Graham and Macy.
Troy Mooney, Chief Academic Officer
Troy Mooney joined the Life School District as Chief Academic Officer in 2012. Previously he served as Waller ISD Assistant Superintendent for two years, Fort Bend ISD’s Kempner high school principal for two years, Waller junior high principal for six years, and Waller high school assistant principal for three years. He has also taught and coached secondary students.
A native of Houston, Troy graduated from Alief Hastings High School and received a B.A. degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University. He received a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University.
Troy is married and is the proud father of one son.
Jennifer Wilson, Chief Financial Officer
Jennifer Wilson (no relation to Executive Superintendent Brent Wilson) joined Life School in April 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1997, is a Certified Public Accountant, and served Duncanville ISD for 12 years prior to joining the Life School team.
Jennifer began her school business career at Duncanville as the district accountant/internal auditor where she learned the fundamentals of school finance and implemented daily procedures for maximum efficiency. She capitalized on the opportunity to build relationships with her campus colleagues as she guided them on sound financial processes.
Gaining in knowledge and momentum, Jennifer was promoted to director of finance where she was responsible for the district budget including salary and revenue projections. During her time as director, she implemented a position control system to ensure budget accuracy and efficiency. In 2007, Jennifer became the Chief Financial Officer of Duncanville ISD. Under her leadership, the district earned Education Resource Group’s (ERG) number one rating in the state for financial efficiency as well as other financial recognitions for financial integrity and transparency. Jennifer is a collaborative leader with a focus on continuous improvement. She is married to Jody and they have two sons, Owen and Hayden.
Charles Pulliam, Chief Development Officer
Charles Pulliam has served as the Director of Human Resources and Organization Development for Life School. In that position, Charles managed the school’s daily human resources operations as well as the organization’s overall people strategies. In his present role as Chief Development Officer, he assists with the establishment of organizational excellence and change management strategies. Another part of his portfolio is to develop a fundraising strategy for the district as well as an alumni association. Charles has assisted numerous corporations with the realization of growth strategies as they relate to the attraction and retention of highly qualified human capital. He is also a certified educator with both elementary and secondary teaching experience.
Charles is a U.S. Air Force veteran, and currently serves his community through non-profit board advisory, professional development and training facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and other volunteer activities. He is sought after by corporations, nonprofits, and volunteer organizations to speak on topics related to productivity, attitude, work ethic, values, and other subjects. In addition, Charles spends a great deal of time helping young people to understand how circumstantial flexibility, sound fundamental skills, positive attitude, and strong work ethic are conduits to for taking advantage of opportunities in the United States of America.
Charles earned his Bachelor of Business Management degree from LeTourneau University. He is a certified educator with certifications in Business Education, EC-12 Special Education, and 4-8 Generalist.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Charles and his Wife, Jenee, have three children, Daniel, Everett, and Addie Jo, and reside in the Dallas area.
Barry West, Chief Operations Officer
Barry West is Chief Operations Officer for LifeSchool of Dallas, which includes four elementary schools and two junior and high schools. Barry received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Baylor University in 1994. After graduating from Baylor, he joined Advanced Planning to provide estate and financial planning services to retirees. In 1998, he went to work with Hearst Media Services in Houston, Texas where he received numerous awards and accolades as a marketing consultant. In 2010, Mr. West joined LifeSchool of Dallas as COO.
Mr. West is married to Kristina. They have four children; Brynn, Anna Kate, Kenzie and Miles.
