Junior High Sports

Since the beginning of the year the Junior High football has been performing very well, with an unbreakable defense and a striking offense. They have it all. They can throw it, and they can run it. Get ready for when our little Mustangs play Varsity! With a 3-1 record, your JH Mustangs are having a good season. Coach Berumen, who also coaches boys Varsity basketbal,l shows great confidence in his team.

The Life School Athletic Department is offering summer sports camps for students entering grades 1-9.   These camps provide instruction with emphasis on fundamental skills.  Each camper will receive individual attention in all aspects of the game.  A strong emphasis will be placed on team play.  The goal of the camps is for students to develop a greater understanding and appreciation for each game while building the necessary skills for future success in athletics.  The camps are under the direction of the Life School Athletic Department and its coaching staff and representatives.

The winter sports seasons are shifting into high gear as the girls and boys basketball teams at Oak Cliff and Red Oak prepare for the stretch run in their respective district races. Both the Life School Oak Cliff Lions and Lady Lions are in the hunt for playoff berths in District 15-AA, while the Life School Red Oak Mustangs and Lady Mustangs, members of District 18-A, prepare for their first post-season opportunity in school history. Junior high teams at both campuses are competing at high levels, while Oak Cliff’s junior varsity teams continue their competitive play. Both schools play their home games at the Oak Cliff campus.
