Life School Boys Basketball Teams Make History

For the first time in Life School history both the Oak Cliff and Red Oak Boys Basketball teams advanced to the regional quarterfinals in the state basketball playoffs.  The Lions of Oak Cliff won their bi-district round against Crawford 55-38 and then beat Caddo Mills 47-38 in the area round. The Red Oak Mustangs downed Saint Jo 64-45 in bi-district and Waco Rapaport 47-42 in area.

Both the Oak Cliff Lions and Red Oak Mustangs boys basketball teams won their second round playoff games. The Lions downed Caddo Mills 47-38 on Thursday night followed by the Mustangs’ 47-42 win over Waco Rapoport on Friday. 

This sets up a unique double header Monday, March 1 at Mansfield Legacy High School (1263 North Main Street, Mansfield, TX 76063) for the regional quarterfinals. Each game is against a district rival as the Lions face Godley at 6:30 pm followed by the Mustangs vs. Hampton Prep at 8:00 pm.  Fans are encouraged to come at 6:00 pm and support both teams as they look to advance to the regional tournament.

The LSRO Boys Basketball team defeated Saint Jo Tuesday in the first round of the State Basketball Playoffs. The 64-45 victory moves the team into a second round matchup against Waco Rapaport. The game will be played at Corsicana High School on Friday, February 26th, at 8:00 pm. Come out and support the Life Mustangs as they look to go deeper in the playoffs!
