On Friday, November 14, after weeks of practice and anticipation, McKinney students presented several songs and a reading about Veteran’s Day to their parents, family, and friends.  Kindergarten students led the audience in pledges to the American flag as well as the Texas flag and then sang “This Land is Your Land” and “America.”

Life School is pleased to announce the Educational Summit. This event will take place on November 18th at 7 pm. State Representatives Jim Pitts, Helen Giddings and Bill Zedler have agreed to participate. Officials from the communities around the Life School District have also been invited to attend the evening.

Life School Oak Cliff honored sixty students and their families on Oct. 24th in recognition of the students receiving their varsity letter jacket for accomplishments during the 2007-2008 school year.  The students were presented their letter jackets and certificates in a reception in Hanson Hall prior to the Life School vs. Maypearl football game at Lions Stadium.  At halftime of the game, the students and their parents stood on the field and were recognized for their achievements in both athletics and academics.
