Mr. Barry West, Chief Executive of Operations of Life School, joined the WATCH D.O.G.S. force at Life School Cedar Hill.  He is served the day, directing morning traffic, working with our scholars, assisting our educators, monitoring hallways and cafeteria areas, hopefully having some FUN on the playground, and ending the day with traffic patrol.  We are so excited that Mr. West volunteered to spend a day with our wonderful community today.

Life School Oak Cliff senior wide receiver Rodrick Lancaster has signed a national letter of intent to play football for The University of North Texas.  Lancaster, who led his team to the school’s first-ever playoff berth, caught 35 passes for 705 yards and seven touchdowns this past season.  Named First Team All-District 6-AA the past two seasons, Lancaster also anchored the school’s 4x100m relay team which qualified for the UIL State Meet in 2011.

A student at Life School since 2003 and an active member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Dallas, Lancaster plans to study Sports Management.

As a member of Coach Dan McCarney’s second recruiting class, Lancaster will enjoy playing in UNT’s new Apogee Stadium as well as playing on the national level, including the Mean Green’s season opener at LSU next September.

It is time to re-enroll your student in Life School beginning Febuary 1, 2012! If you wish for your
child to re-enroll for the 2012-2013 school year, please complete the attached forms and return
them by Thursday, February 23, 2012.

Payment of student activity fees is voluntary but required for participation in the student
activities and other benefits supported by the fees.

As a member of the public education system of the State of Texas, Life School does not charge
tuition. Life School does charge statutorily permitted activity fees which pay for such items as
field trips* and/or transportation*, planners/organizers*, and other items*. For planning purposes,
activity fees of current Life School students are collected during re-enrollment.

Fees are requested at the time you submit your initial re-enrollment forms.

*While payment of these fees is voluntary, it is required for participation. Fees support
