Life School January 26 MLC: Jim Morris and VIP’s! February 23rd, 2012

MLC3 300x190 Life School January 26 MLC: Jim Morris and VIP’s!The January 26th Master Leadership Class was amazing! Those students in attendance experienced the real story of Jim’s life, not the Hollywood ver-sion.

It was a story of heartbreak, humility, patience, and overcoming obstacles. A story about looking ahead when dream killers all around you are telling you you’ll never amount to anything. It was a story of never giving up on a dream. It was a story of someone who is still living a dream today, only this dream is about helping others learn to achieve their own. Thanks Jim!

One of the unique parts of MLC is the VIP experience. Each MLC we select a group of students to be VIP‘s and spend some quality time with our speaker. VIP’s are chosen in different ways. The first MLC VIP’s were our upper classman who scored the high-est on their report cards. The second VIP group were students with perfect attendance and no tardies. This group of VIP’s were junior and senior girls on our school softball team.

The VIP experience is a special one in deed. Not only do the VIP’s get to meet the speaker, they have reserved seating in the front, snacks and drinks provided for them in the green room, can ask questions where information always comes out that didn’t come out on stage, and can take pictures with the speaker. While this is limited to upper classman for the most part, the March 21 MLC VIP’s will be pulled from 9-12. It will be a drawing from every student who has had perfect attendance from Jan. 27-March 20. This also includes no tar-dies. Not only will these students be VIP’s at the event but will have a one in ten chance at a brand new Ipod Touch. So be at school, be on time, and be at the next MLC! Conference Style! See you there.
