
Three Life School student-athletes will continue their athletic careers at the college level after signing a National Letter of Intent.
Life Red Oak pitcher Emily Fluitt will play for the Hill College Rebels softball team next season. Named the District 13-AA Pitcher of the Year her senior season and First Team All-District her junior year, Fluitt plans to study psychology. Her parents are Larry and Trish Fluitt; grandparents are Jack and Mary Ann Fluitt and Pat McBride. The coaches of the Lady Mustangs are Rebecca Thrush and Jeff Smith.

Life School Oak Cliff football players Jerome Fellows III and Deunte Levine will both play at Lon Morris College in Jacksonville.
Fellows, an All-District 6-AA selection the past two seasons has played varsity basketball for four years. He is the son of Jerome Fellows, Jr., and plans to study business.

Levine, an All-District 6-AA linebacker, was a captain for the Lions football team and also a regional qualifier in the 200m and 4x400m relay. The son of Tyra and Cassandra Smith, Levine’s grandparents are Louis and Lillian Levine, Barbara Smith, and Bobby and Estella Person. He is an active member of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church.

Both Fellows and Levine are coached by Robert Acree.
