Where can I get an application?
The enrollment application is available to print off online or may be picked up at the front reception area of each campus.
Where do I turn in the application?
Enrollment application may be turned in at each campus during school hours, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Monday through Friday.
When are applications accepted?
Life School continually accepts applications for the current school year. Applications for the following school year are accepted in March. All applications remaining on the waiting list from the current year must be re-activated for the following year. The waiting list is only good for the current school year.
What documentation do I need with the application?
The front page of the application contains a checklist that tells you everything you need to bring for your child’s grade level.
Who can enroll a student?
Only the parents listed on the birth certificate or legal guardian (Legal guardians must provide court documentation).
What are the enrollment criteria?
Student must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of the enrolling school year. Life School is an open-enrollment charter school and does not discriminate on the basis of sex, national origin, ethnicity, religion, disability, academic, or athletic ability, or the district the child would otherwise attend.
What are the waiting list procedures?
The law requires Life School to use a lottery system. Therefore, all enrollment applications are numbered and an application is pulled by lottery as openings become available.
What is the policy on re-enrollment?
Re-enrollment Forms are sent out the first working day of February. Existing students must turn in their completed paperwork along with their activity fee. All paperwork must be turned in and completed by the end of February to secure student enrollment places for the following year. If the paperwork is turned in after February, the enrollment will be placed with new enrollment and numbered for lottery.
Can I drop the enrollment application off after hours?
Life School does not accept applications that are dropped off after school hours. Campus hours are from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
