As part of Job Week, Life School Red Oak kindergarteners were thrilled to get a visit from Red Oak firefighters – including their fire truck! Firefighter Kyle Taylor, who is the father of a Life School Red Oak student, taught the students about his job, uniform, and fire truck. Other Red Oak firefighters climbed the truck ladder for the children and gave each child a mini-tour of the inside of the truck. The visit ended with many high-fives and a fire safety coloring book for each child. Life School’s Parenting Program encourages parents to participate by sharing part of their careers.
