Lady Lions Volleyball Takes District Title
Life Oak Cliff’s Lady Lions volleyball has captured the District 13-AA Championship and has qualified for the UIL State Volleyball Playoffs. Head Coach Christy Alvillar’s squad is ranked 11th in the state with a record of 23-6 (15-1 District 13-AA) .
By winning the district title, the Lady Lions receive a bye into the Area Playoffs and will await the outcome of the Bi-District round to know which team they will face.
This season marks the school’s first-ever outright District Volleyball Championship and continues a string of three straight years of playoff appearances for the Lady Lions.

Life School Running To Regional Cross Country
The Life Oak Cliff Lions and the Life Red Oak Lady Mustangs cross country teams placed third at the District 13-AA Meet and have qualified for the Region II-AA Meet in Arlington.
Both squads had team members receive a medal for finishing in the top 10 in their races. Lady Mustang freshman Jordan Barnes placed second in the varsity girls race while Lions Adan Gutierrez and Eric Hernandez placed ninth and tenth respectively.
The teams will participate in the Regional Meet to be held on November 3 at Arlington’s Vandergriff Park.
