HOMECOMING DAY!
The Mustangs took on the fighting Swordsman of Garland Christian for homecoming. The Swordsman drove down the field to score the first 6 points. Kameron Blackmon, in for the injured Colten Oder, scored a rushing touchdown from 7 yards out. Going into the 3rd quarter the Mustangs led 9 to 6. Ian Thompson started off the 3rd quarter with a pick 6 to get the Mustangs on a scoring frenzy. After a good defensive stop, Colten Oder connected with Nick Ford for a 51 yard touchdown. Quickly after Kaine Blake runs for 32 yards into the end zone. To finish the night off the Mustangs stop the Swordsman for their first victory. Final Score: 32-20.
Perry David and Courtney Collins were crowned homecoming king and queen.
Colten Oder and Ashlyn Armstrong were crowned homecoming prince and princess.
