Life School has designated October as “Volunteer Month.” As a result, I am excited to announce an incredible service opportunity for our district. Life School is honored to partner with Dallas Area Habitat For Humanity by donating supplies for veterans that have served and protected our nation. Each campus will be challenged to fill boxes with everyday items to be used by veterans at the Resource Center. Until October 24th, you will notice boxes in your campus lobby that will be marked and ready to receive donated items.
Lastly, I encourage you to volunteer with your friends and family during the month of October. As you do, please provide pictures and stories to Judy Norman at judy.norman@lifeschools.net for potential publication in future LifeLink or LifeLine publications. Attached is a flier containing more details regarding specific items needed for donation. Your participation will demonstrate your campus’ commitment to our local veterans as well as the Life School Mission.
