Life School is pleased to announce the opening of a new campus in Cedar Hill for the 2010-11 school year. The new facility is located at 129 W. Wintergreen Rd. in the beautiful High Pointe subdivision. Life School Director of Facilities Shawn Thomas and his staff have worked diligently over the summer months to ensure the campus is ready for opening day on Monday, August 16th. Life School Cedar Hill will house approximately 300 Kindergarten through third grade students. Tours of the campus will be available beginning Wednesday, July 28th.
The Life School District is excited to welcome Mrs. Carlotta Mitchell who will serve as the Cedar Hill campus principal. Mrs. Mitchell graduated from Government and Law Magnet High School in Dallas, TX. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University at Dallas. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate. Mrs. Mitchell brings 12 years of educational experience to the campus. Her professional career includes teaching for Dallas ISD for five years and Cedar Hill ISD for seven years. For the past three years, she has served as assistant principal with Cedar Hill ISD. Mrs. Mitchell resides in Cedar Hill with her husband Erik and their four children.
