Life School Red Oak’s Mustang boys basketball team made school history by clinching their first-ever berth in the UIL Regional Basketball Tournament by defeating Whitney 52-45 in the Region II-AA Quarterfinals. With the win, Coach Eddie Berumen’s Mustangs improve to 32-3 on the season and will face Whitewright in the Region II-AA Semi-Finals on Friday, March 2 at Tarleton State University’s Wisdom Gym. Game time is set for 6:00 pm. Admission is $6 for students and $8 for adults.
Fans are reminded to be at the game by 5:00 pm as the tournament is usually a sellout. Also, no noisemakers are allowed in the gym and only team personnel may video the games.
