Mavis Knight, member of the Texas State Board of Education and its committee on School Initiatives, visited Life School Oak Cliff on Monday, April 7, 2008. Mrs. Knight interacted with students, staff, and Dr. Tom Wilson, Superintendent, to develop an understanding of the mission, culture, and vision of Life School. After touring the campus, Mrs. Knight gave input regarding educational needs statewide and the provision of educational choices for Texas parents and students. Life School expresses its appreciation to Mrs. Knight for her commitment to quality education and her public service on behalf of Texas school children.
