The Life School Theatre Arts Class gave their first performance of the year on October 8, 2009 in front of the elementary student body. The play they performed was entitled “The 12 Angry Pigs.” This hilarious adaptation of the classic film “The 12 Angry Men” centers on a jury of 12 pigs entrusted with the task of deciding the guilt or innocence of the Big Bad Wolf.
The students did a wonderful job in bringing these piggy jurors to life. The Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood, Little Boy Blue, a judge, and a bailiff also gave the play some flair. The props masters and supporting stagehands really help everything run smoothly. The cast was as follows: Darany, Destiny Jackson, Gianni, Mayra Ayala, Tatyana, Aly Soto, Victoria, Majesty, Kyra Skylar, Valencia, Aaliyah, Ahmad, Isaac, Estefania, George, and Jaylen. The students showed their acting “chops” and made their teachers proud by working together to see this play come to life. They truly stood by their class motto: “Leave the drama on the stage!
