Both the Oak Cliff Lions and Red Oak Mustangs boys basketball teams won their second round playoff games. The Lions downed Caddo Mills 47-38 on Thursday night followed by the Mustangs’ 47-42 win over Waco Rapoport on Friday.
This sets up a unique double header Monday, March 1 at Mansfield Legacy High School (1263 North Main Street, Mansfield, TX 76063) for the regional quarterfinals. Each game is against a district rival as the Lions face Godley at 6:30 pm followed by the Mustangs vs. Hampton Prep at 8:00 pm. Fans are encouraged to come at 6:00 pm and support both teams as they look to advance to the regional tournament.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Fans busses are available for Life School students in grades 7-12. The busses will depart from the Oak Cliff and Waxahachie campuses at 5:00 pm. Students can sign up for the fan busses in the school office on Monday, March 1, and need to bring $5 which covers transportation and admission to the games. All students riding the busses must have a signed Field Trip Permission Form (click the link for the form).
