Congratulations to Ja’Mon Williams who came in 1st place at the Region 6 Powerlifting meet. In the 114 lb weight class, he lifted a total of 885 pounds in the squat, bench press, and dead lift. Williams set regional records in the bench with a 195 lb. lift and in the dead lift with a lift of 375 lbs, which broke his own record set last year. Williams was also honored as the lifter of the meet. He will be competing at the state meet Saturday March 29th in Abilene.
