Life School Recognized during Ellis County Commissioners Court

Honoring the legacy of beloved educators, the Ellis County Commissioners Court recognized Dr. Tom Wilson, Life School's Founder, in a Proclamation during Tuesday's meeting.

"He [Dr. Wilson] was known for his commitment to the transforming power of education as a character-building mentor, and, whereas, we should fervently and consistently recognize the generous spirit of educators across this country," expressed Todd Little, County Judge.

Commending both Dr. Wilson and the late Edith Finley of Waxahachie ISD and Ennis ISD, the Proclamation declared August 30, 2019, as Educator Appreciation Day in Ellis County.

Life School's Superintendent, Dr. Brent Wilson, accepted the recognition on his father's behalf.
