Life School Track Athletes Heading To State Meet

Life School will be sending five student-athletes to the UIL State Track Meet after receiving gold medals at the Region II-AA Meet at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.

The Life Oak Cliff Lion’s relay team consisting of Charles Hill, Dequorion Iglehart, Brandon Jackson, and Roderick Henderson will be joined in Austin by Life Red Oak Mustang long jumper Kaine Blake. All will participate on Friday, May 9 at Mike Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas. For more state meet info, visit

Blake jumped a best 23’ ¾” while the Lions relay team recorded a time of 3:25.03. Several Life School students placed in the top 8 in the finals of their events. For more detailed results of the Regional Meet, visit
