Dear Parents and Staff,
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority at Life School. With the recent cases of the Ebola virus in Dallas, we want to let you know that we are doing what we can to ensure our students are kept safe and healthy.
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), “Ebola is spread through direct contact … with blood or bodily fluids of a person who is sick with Ebola.” Also, "Ebola is not spread through casual contact; therefore, the risk of an outbreak in the U.S. is very low.” To find out more information about the spread of this disease, please visit the CDC’s website directly at www.cdc.gov.
Disinfecting and cleaning on our campuses continues to take place. We've added an additional weekly sanitizing step to the existing cleaning routine and have enhanced our communication procedure with cleaning staff. We are also monitoring on a daily basis local events surrounding the story to make sure we do not need to enact any further precautions.
We know that you may be concerned with the spread of this virus but we also want you to know that Life School will do whatever we can to ensure our students’ safety.
If you have questions or concerns specifically about this disease, please call the CDC at 800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636).
