Life School District and Campus leadership along with the Board of Directors dedicated a permanent plaque at the new Life High School Waxahachie campus on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.

The 132,000 square foot facility located at 170 W. Butcher Road opened August 12, 2015 with 678 9th-12th grade students. It is the seventh Life School campus and the first to be designed from the ground up by school leaders and staff members. Capable of housing 1,000 students, Life High School Waxahachie has state-of-the-art science labs, computer labs, an audiovisual lab, theatre, competition gym, and athletic fields are under construction.

Life School opened as a public charter school at its Oak Cliff campus in 1998. For the past few years, the district has earned the highest rating of five stars from the Texas Comptroller Financial Allocation Study for Texas (FAST), which recognizes school districts and campuses for excellence in resource allocations that contribute to high academic achievement and cost effective operations. Since its inception in 1998, Life School has grown to serve over 5,300 students at seven campuses in Oak Cliff, West Dallas, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Red Oak, and Waxahachie. Life School’s mission is to train leaders with life skills for the 21st century by establishing strong academics, character training, and a parenting program.
